Yeah, its sick. This is why I don't spend money in FTP games unless I am certain that the purchase will last for years. With that said, skinnerbox and engagement oriented matchmaking tactics are pernicious, because even if you don't spend money, you are still a target of the intent to psychologically manipulate you into playing for long hours to populate the servers for whales.
Which can't be resolved, because those are not the reason you're not having fun.
i never resort to blaming the game for my lack of enjoyment though
i recognize those times as a skill issue
You can also be:
-- Learning (may be worth the grind if it later leads to fun or some form of enjoyment), or
-- Spending time distracting yourself. to avoid pain or boredom or an odious task (imho a medium goal at best but may be worth doing if your other options are limited.).
@Anaris I don't know where you live but a lot of cities have meetup places for gamers (In NYC for example it is very possible to find same interest groups on bulletin boards like the one at Compleat Strategist. Or similar gaming stores.). If you live remotely though, you may be somewhat out of luck.
Caveat: it is always ofc a roll of the dice whether the people you meet to play games are desirable to interact with in the first place. :p But I suspect most netrunner fans are pretty much compatible.
this is a gane - very different
a gain is a measure of increased muscle mass whereas gane is my intentional misspelling of the word plane
thank you
woobwoobwoobwoobwoob!
go tell your lab supervisor you can solve EXPTIME hard problems instantly in your head instead of wasting your time here lol
