Ranked is a ladder. Maybe mythic uses something like glicko. But that only applies to like 1000 people

there's a statistical test of the ranked matchmaking that showed it's glicko2 with some transform he couldn't quite figure out that's probably the deck weight

i leave whether glicko-2 is a good matchmaking system for magic as an exercise for the reader (hint: no) but it pretty much does the opposite of what EOMM does psychologically
