It's also worth pointing out that every game format has a different card pool. By changing your deck type to "Timeless," you should be able to see all the cards. If the card disappears after switching to your previous format, then it's not available in that format.
and the criteria for standard and other formats
was considering crafting some cards, but they look old and im not sure if they will last for much longer
im trying to see how many editions in the future it will be
figuring out wich is starting to get close to being 5 seasons old
so having a list of the symbols of the editions, in order, would be pretty useful for a quick reference to see how much time a card has left
All you need to do is look at the season listing on the right hand side, the seasons are all in order with the current at the top...so basically the top five are the recent five seasons....everything below it is older. Seasons don't seem to be yearly, they change every 60 days or so. Anything you craft from the top 3 or 4 are relatively "safe", by season.
I check these all the time when building decks, or editing them. Also you could try the MGTA website or any of the deck building sites. Google is your friend!

There is all the information you need to know. For my example I selected the Standard format in the format dropdown.
I chose the Advanced Options button from the menu. it's the little symbol that looks like fader sliders (sorry, musician here).
On the right hand side I highlighted the five most recent seasons from the list of cards from the last three years, under Format Legal. Why? because those will be seasonally the most recent. Of course you can do this same thing for every game format, as they will likely be different in what is legal.
It will also give you a list below that of the seasons and game styles that are not format legal...and of course those might be legal in other game formats.
Still, those lists will tell you exactly what seasons were the most recent, and you can adjust from there.
awesome, thank you
