erm hello? you could just run meteor golem or mockery of nature. you can also kill it easily with demonic junker if you're in black, since you can't use go for the throat (arena bug)

The problem with that is, just because someone plays a card, does not mean they got a good draw, enough lands, or the right cards that make it effective. I know for a fact, because I got bailed on, and I literally would have lost the game within the next couple turns, as I did NOT have those things, and frankly the one card that even produces them is a low rank field card that can easily be countered, with pretty much ANY removal spell UNLESS you previously played a card that prevents it.
Now, I can see bailing IF certain cards are already on the field, and/or IF the other guy gets into one of those Landfall- infinite land resurrection things....THAT is one of the worst I have seen...but to just bail because of an ornithopter, without removing the only 1 / 2 card that creates them,that's just dumb. Yes, it can be how you get suckered in, especially if the player has a tower of cards instead of only 60-100....that's a sign that either they have a very strong hand, or they are a crappy player who can't build anything but Brawl decks or doesn't know how to balance a deck....but all you have to do is see how they are playing.

Personally, I (eventually) bail when the other player ropes more than once....after I taunt them a bit with emotes. I am disabled, so I have no job... I literally CAN "do this all day" lol. Ropers are useless trolls that should be banned, that is NOT a winning strategy, and just gets your name on my list. Yes, I keep a list of consistent ropers. Those types that do it needlessly at the beginning of the game and on every turn. I try roping them back, and if they don't get the hint I just figure it's a 2yr old on mommy's laptop, take a screencap, and copy their name on a textfile I keep. If they do it more than two games, they are banned by me simply because they are not fun. I don't care if you have a better or worse hand, if you can't play "nice" , just don't play.
