It could be random, as many meta decks are built to beat (counter) other meta decks. Intentionally would be server choosing opponents based on your deck, giving you unfavorable matchups. A flat-earth theory you seem to be peddling on this forum.
way too often tho.. it just sucks and even destroys the idea of drafting
In bot draft, that's easy to understand. Bots prefer certain colors, and leave some others open. So many players end up in the same colors, the ones bots mostly ignore, and you get mirror matches. This is certainly different, and easier to master, than a paper draft, or a Premier draft on Arena.
