what boosters packs to get?

Is there a way to get a card list for each booster or look up what booster(s) a card is in and see what cards I have / don't in relation? ( I hope that is clear). I know in yu gi oh master duel it is all rather straight forward

You can check out scryfall and look at each set individually. There you can also look up basically everything in every format. Need only blue white artifacts? There are filters for that. Only interested in multicolored cards? Got you. Very easy to handle.

If you for example look up a specific card, scroll down to see in which set it is in.

When building a deck, you can click on the filter button (which looks like a button with 3 sliders), and then you can select the sets you're interested in. By toggling on "Not Collected," and toggling off "Collected" you will see cards you don't have. You can also combine "Collected" filter with copy count to get cards you haven't collected four copies of yet.

There is a duplicate protection system, that will make it impossible for you to collect useless duplicates until there are no useful cards from the same rarity left.

You can also view a summary of your account progression by clicking Account -> Set Collection.

You can also use the filters in the deckbuilder to filter by a specific set, so for example you could see what cards you have collected or want, especially if you use the Collected/ Not Collected filter as well.

I recommend getting booster packs from one set til you have it nearly completed and using it as your "i need wildcards" set - pulling packs that will have duplicates in that will be replaced with wildcards

No, they will be replaced by vault progress and gems. What you wrote would be an extremely easy shortcut to wildcards, you could basically just buy a wildcard for 1000 gold.

also when building a deck you can look up not collected and I think you can also search by terms
