Magic: The Gathering Arena

No more resolutions above 1920*1080
I used to play Arena on a 4K screen, so i was using the 3840*2160, also known as 4k UHD resolution.

As of today for no apparent reason i can't select it, nor any other resolution above 1080p. i do use 3 screens with two of them being only native 1080p screen, but the 4K one is set up as my primary screen, and Arena is launching on it and in full screen. Besides any other game i play are not affected by this issue, so this is specific to Arena.

I play on Win 11, with an AMD RX 7900 XTX, and my monitor is an alienware aw3225qf.

For me, the highest one is 2560x1440, on a 3440x1440 monitor, which kind of makes sense. What if you disconnect the two 1080p screens? Do you use Steam? If so, where is Steam running? Probably not on the screen where Arena is in full screen mode.

This is a long way of saying, I have no idea what is wrong, but try to fiddle around a bit and see what happens.

Might be something with your display settings in windows, I can select 4k fine.

Well i found the problem,

Arena MUST launch at the resolution of the screen you have selected as default in Win 11.
It wasn't the case about 10 days ago, i have no idea why it does now.

Because my main screen is an OLED screen, i don't want to turn it on when i'm not gaming or watching 4K videos mainly because of burn-in issues. so i was using an older 1080p screen for browsing the net and stuff.

Dont know if thats the entire problem but it certainly contributes, ive seen people post similar problems on afew socials & the only thing in common is its always a monitor using a screen ratio higher then a 16:9 ratio, that actual resolution dosent matter, just the ratio. some people got this issue with only 1 monitor or even laptops, only common thing I see is screen ratio.

My experience is different, I have a curved monitor and Arena starts just fine in a window that is not at maximum resolution for my shorter axis, on Win11. But it may be different on multi-monitor systems.
