Magic: The Gathering Arena

No wildcards for new accounts
Guys, MTGA economy sucks, we all know that, it's like 2 years that i made a new account everytime i want to try a new meta deck, and that worked! Until last week, new account would get tons of packs, like 28 different sets ( it's like 4/5/6 mythics wildcards and like 11/12/13 rare) and you could definetely do some meta decks. Now new account get 20 set packs, so its like 3/4 mythics wildcards and 8/9/10 rares.
Now, how the fk can i do meta decks with 3 mythics and 8 rare????
Why they killed new accounts economy too?
My lord, if i want to fking spend money on cards i prefer do it in real fking life, what do you think?

probably because its a new year, so only this years mail presents are there.
for me, new accounts should at least get 6 mythics and 14 rares everytime or you will not have fun, that's it.
What can i do with 3 mythics and 9 rare wildcards in standard vs mono red, domain, azorius omniscience??? absolutely nothing.
Imagine the collection you'd have if you'd have just played on one account instead of trying to cheat the system...
Karma at its' finest.
cheat? i spend money on real magic cards, i have many standard decks in paper, what r u talking about lol
I use this game for trying new decks before buying them in real life.
Yes, cheat. Not in the sense that you're breaking any rules, but in the sense that instead of spending the time to build up a collection on a single account, as the game is intended to be played, you decided to take advantage of a specific part of the system (the newcomer rewards) and just kept making new accounts. Now that the newcomer rewards have changed and can't be as easily exploited it's no longer beneficial to keep spamming new accounts, and you'll have to put the time into building a collection if you want to continue using Arena for trying new decks. This would not have been an issue if you had simply played the game as it was intended to be played instead of trying to cheat the system.

Congratulations, you played yourself.

you already have a ton of decks. but youd better hope none of them are linked to the steam account youre using currently, cause i done reported you for what youre doing to wizards. hopefully, they IP ban you and delete all your accounts.
what am i doing to wizard exactly? are you guys frustrated or what?
doing new account, because i don't want to spend money in a digital card game but i rather spend it in real life with real cards, doesn't my money go to wizard?
i use this game for trying decks THAT I WILL BUY IN REAL LIFE, real cards not digital cards.
If u want to spend 2 years playing this game just to build 2 decks, go ahead, i will not judge you like you are doing to me just because i do new accounts LOL
this is just stupid

I got the point, but you didn't get mine.
I try decks and buy it in real life, i don't want to spend 1 year just to get my online collection bigger, i don't care and that's not what i'm saying.

imagine being a stickler for the rules after claiming you have been banned from multiple LGS for attacking players you lost to lol
The game rules should be implemented in a way that discourage players from creating multiple accounts. First of all, it might mess up the matchmaking (possibly reducing the fun of the game for other new players). Second: regular players will consider it unfair to have worse conditions than the new players. If changes were implemented to prevent the system abuse, then I think it's a good decision.

About deck testing - I don't consider it a good argument against abuse protection. If you really want only to test out real decks to buy in real world, then you would suggest other solutions, that are fair and good for everyone. For example, you could suggest adding a possibility of occasionally renting a preconstructed deck - that way regular players wouldn't need to create a new account to test it out.

not a stickler for the rules, so much as i dont like to see people whine and cry about how their entitled to everything for free. if all you really care about is testing out cards, theres literally no reason to play this. go download Xmage and play that, its 100% free and has every single card ever made, without the matchmaking and shuffler nonsense of this game.
