Bloodthirsty conqueror/starscape cleric combo should be banned from standard here is the link to ask this to support. Thanks.
There are many different posts in "Wizards of the Coast" Support asking to fix this infinite loop that ruins tthe entire experience.

It feels soooooo annoying to play this way, just by encountering one of those cards you are not sure what to do, even if you have a removal the combo is so cheap and annoying that it keeps coming back everytime and I do not want to join the masses so please help.

The cards need to be either banned or make the loop with a certain limit as so many other cards trigger effects with limits... maybe use counters for certain number of triggerings or any other balance.

I think its downright hilarious that people are whining about the inferior version of sanguine infinite drain. Let me clue you in on reality here...the combo has existed for 13 years now without being banned, and that was with enchantments, which are far harder to deal with than creatures

- Marauding Blight-Priest and Bloodthirsty Conqueror
- Enduring Tenacity and Bloodthirsty Conqueror
- Sanguine Soothsayer and Bloodthirsty Conqueror
...and many others!

Orzhov Lifegain hits 3,7% (citing aetherhub) of the meta today and isn't even running Conqueror. Monoblack lists are all without it too. If it really would be an issue, how come it is so rarely seen?
It's not infinite by any means...All it does is just keep triggering two triggered abilities, it can be interrupted with a instant. It will end when your life is zero, thus it cannot be infinite by design. It's a win con chain mechanic, not an infinite combo.

I would honestly feel good for the opponent if he can pull off that combo considering it takes 5 years and a lucky charm (both creatures out, no interaction and no blockers). But I haven't seen that deck in months because it just gets crushed by aggro, much faster Omniscience combo or control.

I don't see any issue with a super slow, vulnerable combo deck.

The only way it becomes infinite is if you have an effect that makes you not lose the game.
what about unstoppable slasher + bloodletter combo?
I was 1 away from mythic when i ran into this combo, there's nothing you can do against it, once it triggers... it's like the red leyline in a way, nothing you can do but hey it's gentle the way it procs out so i guess it's allowed to stay 🤡

yeah....nothing....black cant kill one of the creatures, red cant kill one of the creatures, green cant kill one of the creatures, white cant exile one of the creatures and blue obviously cant bounce one of the creatures.

nope. nothing at all you can do. oh well

it doesnt kill you on turn 2.
