The issue used to be even worse when it was only Standard legal sets since Ixalan but they are gradually adding back the Pioneer sets. Explorer isn't quite like Pioneer but we got the Khans of Tarkir block recently. We still need the Battle for Zendikar/Oath of the Gatewatch, Theros and Return to Ravnica blocks to really have all the Pioneer legal cards. As it is though I think all the cards that are in the best decks in Pioneer are all in Arena anyway so the decklist for something like Izzet Phoenix isn't too different from something you would see in the actual format especially since Tarkir gave it Treasure Cruise.
And lastly bonus cards added to new sets like brothers war from the original set.
Why not cash out your mtgo account either in cash or paper cards
imagine if they release 4 player commander ect in MTGA... and before someone says it will never happen, are you REALLY sure about that? I bet a in game chat function will be added and 4 player will be unlocked within 2 years or so!
the community has been asking for it for a long while, and the systems in place are already strained. its highly likely a new system will be made and they will revamp to a 4 player enabled system.
why is it we are seeing ability#00000000000 on ability use now? its like they are distracted with something else? like a whole new engine. weird.
alchemy cards already have a 4 person game state in mind...
its just a matter if time before everyone sells what they have in mtgo and the prices of cards will be nothing. because noone will want to play it.
