Squirrels are bad?
It kept feeding me losses when I used my jump in token. Really long and boring games too!

They don't feel fun. are they bad or was I unlucky

Do you mean in limited? Because no, BG is one of the top performers statistically. From personal experience it's also fairly straightforward, and most of the cards are individually decent, unlike say, Frogs (good) or Otters (terrible) that rely on the right balance of setup/payoff to work. It's not as dummyproof as Raccoons or Lizards, but Squirrels still have a high floor in my humble opinion, so you probably got unlucky.

If you still have your decklist you can post it.
Ah sorry, the jumpstart. But it makes me not even interested in checking it out. I had hungry squirrels. I thought they'd shine having food tokens but it was slow and weak

Jump in is quite random because you are basically pairing halved decks and matching them against each other in the hopes to do something relevant before your opponent does. In that situation you are highly dependent on luck. OTOH if you got lucky with your rares maybe it was worth it for that?
