4 Replacement Rares for Leyline of Resonance is not enough
So if you were using leyline of resonance you also had to obviously build towards cards to combo with it. If your gonna ban a card that far into the season and all your gonna give as replacement is 4 rares it sets everyone back. We don't have the other cards to build another competitive deck it would be nice to see you refund the whole deck list so we can actually still be competitive. Feels like a punishment for the game makers mistakes.

Not at all, the deck is still very powerful even without the cheap win

Deck is better without Leyline, so just take the 4 free wildcards and be happy.

your first ban? its EVERY ban, you get the wildcards for the banned cards, thats it. do you wanne give everyone as far back as beta in this game all the wildcards for all the decks they ever built? it was the same with nexus of fate, that was a combo deck that also need teferi, narset, kiori and wilderness reclamation, you wanne give them 16 rares each? what with all the other banned cards and banned combos? and what exactly were the needed cards? would you give for a triple colour deck also refund all the dual lands they needed? ppl that play this game even a little longer would get wildcards out their as... and could built every deck ever from now till the end of mtg.

Yes i think every player that was playing during a card ban that changed the game for the should be refunded all the cards off the banned cards deck list, All the way back to the beginning. So long as they owned those cards at the time of the banning. Also they used to wait for a card to rotate out before banning. Mind Sculptor and blood braid elf both made it difficult to win games without them but they still made it to rotation before getting banned

Can't compare it to a meta from 10 years ago that had a completely different release schedule with new sets

absolutely can. the easy fix 1 of 2 things stop releasing cards you know your gonna ban before hand and 2 just wait and ban after rotation.
Are you new to Magic?

Well nowadays some things do get pre-banned for certain formats, but of course it hasn't always been that way. Certain cards have been banned mid-season (Jace TMS and Stoneforge Mystic both were). Ultimately the consumers are the best people to test out the cards, in house testing is quite limited compared to the millions of players and absurd amount of card combos and possibilities. Wiz will do whatever they can/will/want if they see an unhealthy state of the game, so Leyline got the much deserved boot. No other decks can do turn 2-3 kills in the format, and hell Mono Red still can even with the banning. Other than that if people are that upset they will move on to other avenues. Most people will just throw in 4 different cards and the deck will function exactly the same but without double triggers.
This is an entitled position and I disagree. Be glad you got something in the first place. You still have the cards in your collection for bo3 formats and direct challenge

LOL Be happy they gave you anything at all and were able to get your free 3 turn wins for weeks. The idea that you should be refunded for an entire deck of cards that you can still use is wild and I can honestly not tell if this is bait or not. also its a red deck just move some cards around and you'll be fine.

2. It was a turn 2 win. t0, play leyline. t1 play scamp or mouse. t2 play monstrous rage or turn inside out, copy it, hit with an 8 power mouse or 7 power scamp, fling it with burn together (callous sellsword) for 8 or 7 damage from dying + 8 or 7 damage from burn together.

There are still many different ways in which mono red, gruul aggro or jund can win on t3.

I heard you are going to lose 4 wildcards for even wanting to play the thing in the first place!

Turn 3 kills instead of turn 2 seems a fair trade off for 4 wild cards imho.

Of all the times I played against Mono Red Aggro running Leyline at best it contributed to the win for them 1 out of 10 times. I never thought it needed banned.

Now, I could list a few BLACK cards i'd love to never see in Standard.
