Is this legal or I don't understand something with Vraska, Betrayal’s Sting ?
Other player had only one creature with trample,
Innkeeper’s Talent (fully leveled>This will double the counters you place on your permanents.) and I had 0 poisen counters. He played Vraska, Betrayal’s Sting and the moment he played it I got 18 poisen counters and lost with 20 life.
By my logic his Vraska should be 3x2 = 6 and he should not be able to use ultimate -9 on the same turn ? Game over with his Vraska on starting base 3 .

It doubles it before alternate cast cost reduces it to get it to 9. Its a replacement effect thing

So how does that go in steps. I think he paid with life cos he had only 5 lands. Can he pay with life to get it to +12 -9 to 3 ? 9 p.c x 2 = 18 p.c. game over ?

Here's a Reddit thread that explains it: link

It's legal. Compleated is a replacement effect. Level 3 of Innkeeper's Talent is also a replacement effect.

The affected object's controller or affected player can choose the order in which they apply.

616.1. If two or more replacement and/or prevention effects are attempting to modify the way an event affects an object or player, the affected object’s controller (or its owner if it has no controller) or the affected player chooses one to apply, following the steps listed below. If two or more players have to make these choices at the same time, choices are made in APNAP order (see rule 101.4).

616.1f Once the chosen effect has been applied, this process is repeated (taking into account only replacement or prevention effects that would now be applicable) until there are no more left to apply.

So someone can just choose to apply Innkeeper's Talent replacement effect first.

BTW, In gameplay settings, you can turn off the auto features so you have greater manual control.

Thank you. Crazy broken if you as me. But I have to say nothing is more broken than this card shuffler.
