We have 7 landfall triggers from Nissa currently on the stack, so that thing has had it's counters doubled 7 times (at least) this turn.
If you do the math on that & follow it back then the largest it could have been on the previous turn was 32/32. If there's even 1 landfall trigger we don't know about (playing a land before awakening the woods) then it would have been 16/16 or smaller previous to this.
Ofc this doesn't derail the valid question: opposing life total of 20 gives the impression that no attempt was being made to attack the opponent prior to the "hydra explosion".
Also (For UED Ghost) if you'd gotten to combat & attacked then that hydra would have been 8192/8192.
Wasn't big enough to push through until the turn it got so big. I'm also skittish with attacking colours with removal (black, white, and sometimes red). When I'm matched against these I usually wait for my opponent to tap out before going in for the kill.
The reason it got so big in one turn was was Bristly Bill + Fabled Passage + Awaken the woods.
Against Sparky: 1.073.741.823 (maximum)
Sadly a lot Players Quit befor the realy amount is there....

why didn't I end the game? someone stuck a pacify or something similar on it and I didn't draw removal >.>
Nice! These are the kind of numbers I was hoping for when I made this thread.
People either kill it or concede so far.
Jokes on black, i splash white for revival. and Surge of Protection. You can't escape Hydra.
I noticed players in general quit really fast. It's disappointing because sometimes I don't really get to play my deck, they just up and leave before anything happens.
For the record I don't BM or rope.
IT probably doesn't help that i have recomission and protection and such so even if they kill it i can yoink it right out of the graveyard.
I also have Botanical Warrior which isn't as strong as Mr Moss, but it has trample and gain counters quickly. So it can also straight up win the game. if Mr Moss dies.
too bad they wiped them all out with a sunfall or something the next turn >.>
4th turn 4/4 presumably you would play a fetch card for 2 lands for 4
So it could be a 16/16 by turn 4 if you don't miss a land drop
5th turn 8/8
6th turn 16/16
Any counter strategy will make it grow exponentially bigger
That's an all in strategy which would fail as often as suceed
