perhaps this is some sort of top-tier cleat
it seems reliable from my testing it so far
the deck contents might abuse the matchmaking system somehow i wouldn't know
caldera is more or less safe from exile if you use the sacrifice card same turn however counterspells can shut it down still
turn 2 play a land, empty board
turn 3 play a land, play crusias chip a land, get a treasure for 5 mana next turn
turn 4 play a land, pass to endstep, dump a land for the other combo piece, you have 2 treasure now for 7 mana next turn, enough to win
turn 5 play caldera breaker which has a removal etb versus your opponent, sacrifice caldera breaker to draw the cards it puts into your library and play those cards for win.
it loses to removal of the commander
it loses to interaction with caldera breaker that doesn't kill it.
Its a very fragile all in combo that doesn't work if your opponent has removal. And they will because they have no other targets to waste it on. Its not a 97% winrate. Its not as good as you think. Just don't be surprised when the wins are turned off for that deck.
You can play the commander again and again each turn.
Just don't play your combo if opponent don't spend any mana and bbye.
lose either of the two other cards and it's impossible
It hard loses to plenty of stuff....
if your opponent gets to look at your hand & make you discard something then you're done.
If they got a counterspell for the Caldera breaker then you're done.
If they've got instant speed removal & know how the triggers on caldera breaker work; then you're done.
Basically if they know or suspect what you're trying to do, and their deck has a reasonable amount of interaction then you're probably not gonna pull it off.
15 wins in a row must represent some very fortunate pairings. Haven't seen Crucius about in a while, but back in it's heyday I was about 60/40 against it. It farms most of its wins through unfamiliarity with the combo; run into someone who knows what you're doing & you're not favoured (and because the deck is so linear you can't really do anything about that).
