I was basically going 2 to 1 in will loss ratio with some fun games. Hit platinum and lost 7 games in a row to decks that basically are. 'I kill/disable all your things and have 10 tokens on the board and 3 monsters that inflict poison whenever you take direct damage.'
Had that moment of. 'I spent ten minutes to watch you pop off an effect combo and swing for game... if i wanted this I'd play Yugioh.'
Pretty sure every new account can meta build their first deck if you know exactly what you need, but wheres the fun in meta gaming someone else's ideas.
I know, i used to play magic with friends where what you were going to do next was part of the fun.
not just, and your going to steal my monster and sacrifice it. And your going to steal my monster and sacrifice it... how many of these card do you have. 16... riveting game play. what happens if i DON'T summon a monster and use banish cards... 20 turns later. thought so, whole lot of nothing.
