Please Nerf "Hare Apparent" broken token card.
Why on Earth doesn't the rule of max 4 cards doesnt apply to this card. Can have as much copies of them as you want in deck. Just played against someone who blew me into space with 751 health at the end & a combined atk of arround 600. Boardwiped him 2 times before and pulled an even bigger token & monster count out his a** :(

Since Hares Apparent are cheap, I tried this combo some time ago. People usually didn't allow me to have more than 3 Hares Apparents at the same time. I usually either died faster, or got them removed one by one, or got the whole board cleared. Even if I managed to got few of them, opponent usually already built better setup. The deck is pretty much worthless if opponent happens to play The End or Deadly Cover-Up. Raise the Past and Three Tree Battalion were helpful, but often not enough to keep playing. My rank was steadily dropping down.
Sounds about right. Hare Apparent is probably stronger than most of the rest of the "You can have any number of ~" cards but that's a pretty low bar to clear. It's nowhere near competitive and the original post asking for a nerf really says more about the poster than the card.

Additionally, one of the most common sideboard cards for graveyard hate right now (maybe maindeck in Bo1) is ghost vaccuum. Which means if they have a couple of pieces of removal to deal with the hares as they come out, there's a decent chance that they'll end up pulling the combo off better than you by reanimating 3+ at once.

I only asked for a nerf because i cleared all of them 2 times haha. Then its opponents turn & pulls a whole token & creature army out his ass xD. I wasnt mad or anything just curious why you kick the rule of 4 cards with your feet when youre able to abuse it in such a manner.

so... you have to craft them all individually?
too bad I don't have a dozen wildcards to play around with it atm :P

I don't think you need to craft beyond 4, for the rat colony and the blue mill guy in the past you only had to craft 4 at least.

Slime against humanity was bad.
Hare Apparent is broken.
Seems like the design space for these kind of cards needs to be 2 1/2 mana
I was thinking more about how they could do 2 1/2 mana and that would just to make it a 3 cost that's conditionally a 2 cost. Like slime against humanity could cost 1 less if you own a modified creature.
Or hare apparent could cost 2 but cost 1 more if you control a token

Anybody like this idea?

Just wondering how? the card requires multiple copies to activate it's affect (mind you i too find this cards annoying) and if you board wiped twice how did he get enough hares out to multiply to 600 damage? Just curious as most i've played against quit after being board wipe once or twice or losing a few of their hares

Can’t believe nobody has answered you. You use “Raise the Past.” It brings all the Hare Apparents back at once, and they all trigger off each other.

I think the problem with the card is the cost, other than that it's just another token generator. I create way more tokens faster and cheaper than hare can. There I times I gotta destroy my own stuff to keep from drawing cards and making tokens that trigger me to draw cards. Generally a token spammer should be more expensive and a bit easier to deal with The End. A token spammer should cost at least 4 mana for balance even if it costs nothing to create tokens.

yea generally a token generator is like 3 cost card that produces like 1 per turn, 3 that can produce more but is squishy and easy to deal with or 5+ card that just doubles or triples tokens. I think that system really kept it balanced. There are a few exceptions but even in Alchemy (which I exclusively play) They stick to that format. The ♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing like someone mentioned is you can play Raise the Past and just nullify board wipes . Unless you are a psycho like me with a obscene amount of removal, most players would have to know they are going to face that. I don't dislike the card but the cost is just WOTC trolling us lol.

All the cards that you can play unlimited numbers of in decks get the lemniscate (infinity symbol) after 4 wild cards.

bunnies are cool, even better if you get to pull a Delney, Ojer Tak and Elash Norn out you end up making about 40 rabbits a turn with ease
i do it just to see how many i can actually get up to

If he answers you tag me as well cos I'm also interested to know
It's probably Raise The Past mixed with something like Hinterland Sanctifier to get that much health. A board wipe usually sucks with a hare apparent deck but with a good revive card in hand it can instead make you stronger.

Those decks are ultra weak, is this a troll thread?

I think it's more of a "new" player thread where they aren't used to the "as many copies as you like* mechanic. Every time one has been released people react like this, than abruptly they'll just stop posting about it.

I have a bunny brawl deck with the commander as the card that turns them into bears, it's only an increase to 2/2 but I love the flavour splash so much I just run it anyways even though their's better commanders.

Rabbits are babies first magic deck. At any live event they would be laughed off the table.

edit: and the problem isn't bunnnies. This power expansion has lowered lethal back down to turn 3 so the problem is matches end too damn fast.

Bad expansion for players: You will be squashed hard if you don't invest.
Good expansion for buyers/sellers: Every card in this set is useful aka valuable.
