Too Big to Rig!
MTGA is shrinking and the wait times between games are incredibly long. This is what happens when you dictate instead of leading a game.

You're right, the player base is shrinking, as it always happens when no new content is released. The activity is always the lowest right before the new expansion. On the other hand it's quite satisfying to see that a new peak record is registered on steam every time new expansion is released. It almost doubled over the year.

a big rig is an 18-wheeler and that's plenty

the player base is still consistently growing, like it has every year for the last 30 (Hasbro report a 14% CAGR). take your meds, grandpa.

It has not been around for 30 years if you'd like to go back read. We all understand that you misread it.. now if only you could.

Wotc has done nothing but constant disaster after disaster, and people are just moving to Pokemon or Yu-Gi-Oh.

I fear that WOTC will think that they need to be MORE like Yu-Gi-Oh and fortnite, instead of learning that this is why people are abandoning it to begin with.

We are witnessing the death of MTGA. Wotc will be fine though they still have paper.

Learn to read. The subject is MTGA not MTG.

The reason I mentioned, "now if only you could" is because I had already predicted your response after not being able to read it for the second time.

Iv'e seen your type ask, "why wont this card work"? or "how are they cheating"? They are not and It works, you just can't read. You will have to learn to read and have a skill level before trying to teach people or answer questions.

Right now you are Olympic break dancing your way through life thinking you are something you are not: A smart reader.

I've spouted this before but Bloomburrow was literally written by the girl who made Dora the Explorer and Go Diego Go! for Nickalodean, you literally can not get a more "kids" author to write the story, than Thunder was made by an author known for shoehorning in "woke" characters and transgenders well never using it to actually do anything with the story, look at the characters she made for that set, her influence is 100% over everything, these authors should not be given 100% creative freeway with in universe characters, this outsourcing of authors is burying this game/franchise it's not gonna be more like yu-gi-oh or fortnite, their just gonna keep hiring kids authors till the stories are so meh, and the characters become to heavily warped that the player base lucid enough to actually protest such changes and pay attention to the story just leave, allowing them to focus mtg on kids like they want, kids don't complain about the story, kids don't complain about bans/nonbans, kids essential "force" parents to buy cards/packs/tins without thought to price and will embrace this kiddy approach to MTG's world.

fun fact: There are objective tests for this and I'm in the 99.9th population percentile.

you, meanwhile, think seven million accounts can log in to the paper game.

you know sets aren't written by single people right?
Argstein (Banned) Nov 8, 2024 @ 8:25pm

sorry screwed things up quoting multiple posts by accident. If you check https://magic.wizards.com/en/news/magic-story you'll notice single authors credited, if you go back to the point of "The Retaliation of Ob Nixillis" you notice they actually do credit multiple authors when it rarely happens.
