the tutorial is really bare bones & sucks.
I tried out the tutorial, won all the scripted battles, then went against players.

12 games later havent won a single game.

Okay :awkward:

What is it that you're struggling with? Kind of hard to help you if you just say the tutorial sucks and don't explain any further...

Very true.

Well maybe it's not the tutorial but it's pretty obvious this game has no skill bracket & im stuck playing against people who have been in the scene for 20 years

What mode are you playing? IMO you should stick to Starter Deck Duels until you feel you've got nothing left to learn from it. In fact, pick just one of the decks and stick to that until you've mastered it.

might be good for a beginner to also try the color challenges

The tutorial is bare bones because they don't want to overwhelm players, problem is every new set is becoming more and more complicated than the last. Have you played magic before arena? I might be able to help you come up with an affordable deck that wins games in historic or timeless. Assuming you have uncommon and common wildcards still.

idk if its enough wildcards but I've activated pretty much every code & I have-

27 commons, 31 commons, 13 rares, 4 mythics

Honestly if you're a new player I would steer clear of Historic and Timeless, there's just too many cards and options to overwhelm you, do standard or do brawl, in brawl it's 100 card decks and you can only have one copy of each card so you can probably build a brawl deck quite easy

The real tutorial is getting to Mythic on homebrews. It's pretty good.

But that aside, I do wish there was a single-set constructed mode. I feel like even Standard is too overwhelming when just starting to play constructed.

its weird to lose that badly in spark rank. people are mostly using cheap decks. Maybe u didn't pay attention? did u unlock the two color decks? try not to play ranked games once u get out of spark for a while. get used to the game against players who only play those free decks.

Dont bother crafting a deck yet. my advice use one of the two color decks and as you earn some cards expand one of them. try to build a side board for one and try out best of 3. Dont just net deck freaking mono red like most newbs. Actually learn the game.

what do u expect from this devs that are rigged the game for some players, they only care about the $$ and they lose every quarter as they have shown in the accounts it is pathetic
