Question about alchemy rotation

As I understand Alchemy rotates every 2 years and standard every 3 years. Why The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth Set rotates out now, after one year? I have't found any answers to this. I assumed it was going to rotate out 2025 as per two year rule on alchemy set rotation.

Can anyone give me any explanation? Seems I don't quite understand the set rotation system.

No, the 2 year rotation means that on rotation day, only sets released in the previous 12 months stay valid, and will be supplemented by sets released in the next 12 months.

As LOTR was released over 12 months ago, it rotates out.

At rotation next year, everything up to OTJ will go.
