How is it for a new player now ?

Thinking about trying the game and probably will regardless, just wanted some opinions on the actual situation of the game in terms of balance/modes/enjoyability/ability to create decks or homebrew and having wins etc and how much time is required to build a deck

Okay looks like Free rewards are now sent directly to Player Inbox introduced in Patch 2022.22.0, including the free packs that come with new sets and compensation for issues.

There may still be some codes floating around that work but it looks like they just give you all that ♥♥♥♥ automatically now? Idk, someone else might have better insight, it's been a long time since I used the redeem code option lol.

if u want to play infinite decks for free just keep making new account and scoop up all the free stuff, should be enough free stuff with minimal effort for at least one full deck per account

Nowadays most things go into the mailbox yeah.
But you can probably just google "mtga promo codes" to get a list of all the ones that predate the mailbox. The packs will give you cards that aren't legal in standard, but still give wildcards. Then there's some cosmetic rewards (and i think??? currency rewards) as well.

I am new. I don´t have any custom deck. I play mostly color challenges against players ( I get prebuild deck)
Looks like it matches me against players with custom deck, which is total bS

It is a Skinner box game. If I had to guess, I'd say someone with a user name like guud booi would enjoy this particular version of the game more than others just for the extra "bells", and "whistles".

I just searched what is a skinner box, you mean this game is like a psychological experiment masked as a game lol ?
Regarding the second part of the comment, with bells and whistles you mean a game more focused on "showing off" and having a more aesthetic visual than other versions ?

Only 3 of the 33 or so codes actually works, so this isn't helpful at all
