Game should have free mulligan
Give some free mulligans, and this game would be 100% better. Nothing I hate more than loading into a game and getting one land in the first hand, no land in the second hand, and two lands in the third hand but already being down three cards.

I don't see why not, wouldn't bug me to see it.

You could also just put more lands in the deck.
This is bo3? No hand smoother then iirc

What it really needs is an option to look through your library after you lose or concede. So players can see what they had coming up.

Though this may reveal just how terrible shuffling is in arena, which is probably why they don't allow for it.

They already give you a handsmoother in bo1

It already does, it's called hand smoothing aka rigging. The game takes the best of three hands (that equals two free mulligans for those who need the math).

I remember an ancient thread back in the mtg arena forum days that had a lot of heavy speculation that the handsmoother used adaptive learning so it could better comprehend the better of the 3 hands (was 2 than) to pick for your deck over time. The thread would go on to explain the problem with adaptive learning and netdecking (stupid I feel like I have to mention this every time I say netdeck, some people will go off on anything; I have NO PROBLEM with netdecking) where in the handsmoother can spot and pick the better starting hand FAR better when their's a massive amount of people playing roughly the same decks as the adaptive learner gets to process far more games to learn what makes a good hand for your deck than a jank deck you literally just invented.

I am seeing where Bo3 does not use the smoother. Pretty sure that format is where most of the argument/frustration is found.

Looks like you have found A fine example of an expert who has never played the game.

You will find a lot of that on here.

Some days I'd like a free mulligan on our player base, lol!
