Magic: The Gathering Arena

Game should have free mulligan
Give some free mulligans, and this game would be 100% better. Nothing I hate more than loading into a game and getting one land in the first hand, no land in the second hand, and two lands in the third hand but already being down three cards.

I am seeing where Bo3 does not use the smoother. Pretty sure that format is where most of the argument/frustration is found.
You HAVE a free mulligan in BO3?

Maybe in some modes, in draft you don't.

Looks like you have found A fine example of an expert who has never played the game.

You will find a lot of that on here.

The irony.

Some days I'd like a free mulligan on our player base, lol!
For real though
The irony.
Messaggio originale di mwesthoff:
It already does, it's called hand smoothing aka rigging. The game takes the best of three hands (that equals two free mulligans for those who need the math).

Hand smoother isn't "rigging" it affects both sides, and wotc is open about it, so it is, by definition, not "rigged"

You mean open like a message telling you about it during load times? No? Oh, you mean hidden away somewhere where no one can find it.

You have no proof that it gives both players an equal hand other than hearsay.

It's not hidden though you can literally look it up and it's talked about all over the place and wotc itself said it's a thing, so not hidden by any definition of the word.

I'm not the one claiming it's rigged. It's not rigged, though, because it literally isn't by definition, it's not hidden or benefiting either party. Which we know because all statistics about it show that there is no advantage to anyone.

Nice! Now you are throwing statistics around without any numbers.. "Duh, where's da math"?

The "trust me bruh", "Hasbro would never lie for profit crowd" that think they are being interviewed for a job with WotC every time they open their mouth about the game.

Lmao the sheer irony coming from the "the game's rigged. Trust me bro" argument you have.

"Hasbro would never lie!"
Yeah because wanting the bare minimum of it being rigged, AND disproving it's rigged, with the literal definition, means saying Hasbro never lies.

You know, they also said Hasbro isn't the Zodiac killer, but they are liars! Hasbro is the Zodiac killer!
