I played 2 games and I'm already screaming at swearing at the screen. It seems like the cards are made by idiots that don't even know what balance is and any given deck needs to include like 10 - 14 removal cards of different kinds (exile, destroy, -x/-x) to be even close to playable, on top of stupid amounts of removal you need to include anoter 4 to 8 cards for card draw. Seriously the cards are so stupid that its unbelivable this game is still alive.

First game after I added Brotherhood's End to my deck is vs Elesh Norn. Such a coincidence. This matchmaking is so screwed that I don't even.

Well its free to pay game and I don't want to pay so I need to grind the card rewards and stuff for like few months before I can have fun with the game.

One can make fantastic artisan decks and at least reach platinum with that. Some archtypes that are very suitable for this are orzhov toxic (I played an artisan version of this to diamond once), mono red aggro (either burn or pumping the creatures and flinging them), boros virtuoso, izzet spellslinger, mono blue tempo, azorius tempo, varius color combinations with blue for an artifact deck (abusing zaetic glyph and unctus retrofitter), rakdos sacrifice... most decks and playstyles can work without rares.

You can get the common and uncommon wildcards easily and if you dont already have enough, you can play jump in or starter deck duals to get started.

The matchmaking in this game is horrible and outrageous, so it doesn,t matter what deck you play. Whatever you play the matchmaking will put you against counter decks. Acorrding to data mono red, white and boros are most played decks, but I'm playing vs black most of the time and vs some white decks that include the cards that counter my current deck, if I see single mono red during the day its like christmas time.

Only idiots without any insight can spam such annoying cards, without any consideration aboubt game balance and fun factor for all players.

LOL. Lost a game? More like several games in a row cause of playing vs counter decks all the time, due to screwed matchmaking.

Considering deck weight numbers that are floating on the web I'm playng a deck that has tiny wight vs decks that have few 1000s of weiight, so that theory with deck weight is just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. This is literally unplayable atm.

theres a difference when a game can end in 1 turn, or before that opponent could do something ... or here, where it can take several turns

Unranked is disgusting, people beat ordinary decks with meta decks. Some of them even spam oops like I have the upper hand, you can't do anything. Ranked is full of mythic decks everywhere because of the monthly reset, so can't play without a mythic deck there too. Draft is pure luck, the first rare card determines what you will play. Jump in is ok if you get matching sets. Only Brawl is enjoyable if the other guy isn't playing cards with extra turns or cards that let him play for minutes. Overall if you like some sets of this game you can't play an ordinary deck anywhere. I really don't know why I keep playing, if Assassin's Creed isn't coming to Arena there is no reason.
