Tell me why creature not countered please
They summoned I think the name was ravenous sailback (dinosaur type).

I used creature counter spell on them 2 times. Both times it asked me if I was sure. Which made no sense to me I look at the card and nothing I see on the card says it cant be countered.

It has haste (which means it just can attack or tap as soon as it comes out right).

Other than the haste I did not notice anything else on these cards.

Also no enchantment or artifact out that I see would make any difference.

I do not see a replay anywhere where I can go back and watch the game again which sucks.

Take a screenshot next time, otherwise no one can see what effects may have been in play. If you are not sure about some of the game mechanics or want to test something, you can usually test it against the Sparky AI.

Almost certainly Cavern of Souls - the fact that it asks you "Are you sure" is a giveaway that what you are trying to do won't work.

The fact it said "are you sure" means the opponent has some sort of thing on the field that is preventing you from casting counters or increases the cost beyond what you have or something, and thus since it's an illegal target nothing happens except your spell is wasted.

cavern of souls is the most likely cause.

If they're playing Dinos, Angels, Humans/Soldiers, vampires almost guaranteed if you're in ranked they have at least 3 copies of Cavern of Souls in the deck, you'll see their avatar say the creature type when they drop the land, so be aware if you have counters

If someone plays a card that can't be countered, there's usually a purplish border around that card on the stack.

In brawl Cavern is pretty much an auto include if your commander is a creature.
