Starter Decks
My daily quest today was in a colour pair that I don't normally play, so I decided to play the starter deck challenge to finish the quest.

I played around 10 games, and every single opponent was using the Boros equipment deck - not one exception.

I get that it's the best out of the 10 starter decks, but really? Are you all so desperate for wins that you resort to a format where you guaranteed to avoid any opponents that have a better deck than you?

Big cringe.

Well you can't blame people for using the deck that's the best one in the mode
You certainly can blame people for spamming the noob introduction mode with things that actively prevent new players from engaging with the game. It's a ♥♥♥♥ move, even in the most charitable of interpretations.
They should have made the decks more even lol
I've played all the DotP games from 2012 > Magic Duels so this sort of starter deck challenge seems like a nice throwback to those types of games so I play them a lot for my dailies. The reason Rebel Armory is picked the most is because it's the strongest and easiest to pilot. Here is my tier list:

Tier:
A - Rebel Armory, High-Flying Valor
B - Arcane Aggression, Growing Hope, Legions of Phyrexia
C - Savage Scavengers, Grave Secrets, Charging Ahead, Scrapyard Sacrifice
D - Sylvan Wisdom

The best efficient decks are Rebel Armory + High Flying Valor which is why they are the strongest as they have strong removal and cheap threats.

Arcane Aggression is a good all round deck my personal favourite. Growing Hope is by far the most explosive deck. Legions of Phyrexia + Charging Ahead are the most midrange decks. The best grinding decks are Savage Scavengers, Grave Secrets, Scrapyard Sacrifice.

Then Sylvan Wisdom is pure garbage it has nothing going for it's which is surprising considering Elves are usually a very strong tribe.

Most people I know use that mode to finish dailies, just as you, for color combos they do not already have a deck built for they can do it another format. Why wouldn't you just assume they are also doing the same? This post just reeks of projection.

It isn't difficult mate. Play the starter deck event in the colours of your daily quest, or play a different format. Playing the starter deck event just to earn wins because you can't get them anywhere else is cringe.
Nice double standards... it's fine to use the starter deck mode to quickly finish your daily quests, but not to quickly earn your daily wins?
At no point has anyone in this thread said they play the starter deck event because they can't earn wins elsewhere.

theres a much easier and consistent way to farm your daily wins than with the strongest starter deck: build the cheapest strong mono red aggro deck currently legal and go nuts. fast games, spam them.
