If you Copy a Deck, Learn how it works.
The amount of people I seen the last few days with copy/pasted brawl decks seems to have skyrocketed & only afew people actually know how to play with it properly. I almost exclusively play brawl & seeing the same commanders is usually gunna happen but the amount of people with the exact same setup then roping cause their getting stomped baffles me. At first I thought mabey it was a coincidence or mabey it was just mmr pairing me to whatever deck weight, but then I started to keep a mentle notes of it. Today alone I played against 9 Aragorn, 7 of them played the exact same mana chumps & artifacts, the other 2 were actual fresh decks.

My only real thing to all this, why all of a sudden is there a spike of people running copy pasted decks in brawl & why dont people use decks they know. Sure if you wanna copy a deck go for it but how are you gunna pick all 99 cards & not read them over atleast once. I had one guy running a strong Zurr deck but he forgot that you cant declare more attackers after defenders are declared which makes me think even more that people dont know how their decks work.

There's no ranked in brawl. You're telling people to learn their deck but they need to actually play to learn. This is why normal constructed mtg has a play queue for the people learning and brewing. its too bad Wizards considers brawl a joke and wont give yall ranked.

there is a ranking system in Casual Bo1 modes, its hidden but it uses your deck weight & win ratio as your rating.

60% of people play blue- or green- white soldiers/ +1 counter/horn of gondor decks

15% red/blue or red/white aggro and/or spell aggro removal

20% removal spam + an OP card like vindicator or witch king. / some p2w chain trigger unstoppable thing

5%: someone actually trying something neat.

Thats been my experience in the past month or so of playing this. Personally play graveyard ghouls, green and black. Phrexian scrapyard and detective druid is fun.

there is a ranking system in Casual Bo1 modes, its hidden but it uses your deck weight & win ratio as your rating.

Casual game modes have a rating not a ranking, thus the R in MM(Rating). In competitive games, if someone says "ranked" 99% of the time they mean, the fancy ladder in which you climb brackets that are publicly visible on your account.

Casual MMR is the same but different as in always hidden and provides no rewards the higher you go whereas Ranked typically provide seasonal rewards depending on how high you climbed during said season.

Only events (e.g. drafts, constructed event etc) use the win / loss ratio (for that event only).

Deck weight is a secondary factor used for non-ranked Bo1 matches only - so play queue and Brawl.
The primary factor for match making for those queues is your "Open play MMR", which is separate to your "Constructed MMR" and "Limited MMR"
Agreed.

most are of low iq. so sick of people who make a match last 30 minutes. game needs much shorter fuse timers. they need to learn it somewhere else, not in online matches.

that's what bot matches are for.

Yeah I used the wrong wording, I did mean rating & I was incorrect about Win/Loss but it does count Total Matches played which uses that with rating & deck weight which is what I meant as I dont find people who are new unless they dropped enough money for 20+ mythic wildcards & somehow got access to old cosmetics like Dwayne.

You still need to give people a chance to learn to play... not everyone is a mtg wizard that played paper in the 90s.
