Can ya'll use any deck other than red haste or black discard your hand?

Seriously, 4/5 games I play someone either has a red haste deck or a deck almost entirely made up of "discard your hand" cards. It makes me feel like this game's player base is all under the age of 11.

Yes everyone you disagree with has main character syndrome, because that's the newest fanciest buzzword after "karen" died out as a thing for randomly labeling anyone who you have even a minor disagreement with or don't like for whatever petty reason.

I play standard cause I can't stand heist cards or LOTR :P But yea I mostly see red haste and black discard. The haste is annoying for obvious reasons and the discard is annoying cause after the first 4 turns I don't have any cards cause he made me discard them all, and he doesn't have any cards cause all his cards were "discard" cards. Its just dumb.

Discard is nasty. Historic is more varied than standard and I'm not trying to hate on priestess pridemate.

Not a lot play the old fashioned way of casting/answering with better permanents turn after turn using mana, outclassing on the top deck.

Historic is closest to basically paper magic really, but it costs too much to really do much with especially having more than one deck given wildcards.

Why would it be the matchmakers fault, the matchmaker isn't making the decks.
