Magic: The Gathering Arena

Run 26 lands in a 60 card deck. After 100 games still can't get more than 2 mana in opening hand. Is shuffler broken again?
Mulligans all present two lands. Wouldn't mind except seeing mono-red Opponent goes first every @#$@ game drawing more land in their 18 land decks. This shuffler is just a piece of ♥♥♥♥. What kind of drop-out dumb asses did they hire to skew their algorithm? IT SUCKS.

Are you playing ranked games?

:gilga:
66% chance for a 26 land 60 card deck to get 3+ lands in the opener. In other words, you should be seeing 2 or fewer in the opener with extreme regularity.

With extreme certainty in the initial hand the system only leaves the player with 2 lands or less. When 3 lands appear in the initial hand, it will definitely flood. This game is stolen more than casino games.

WOTC has officially told us that they're shuffler algo is fine. What more proof do you need? Your 100 games are anecdotal. Even 10,000 games is anecdotal. The only way to know 100% is to ask WOTC and trust their answer blindly.

The shuffler and game placement is 100% rigged behind the scenes in some way. It cannot be any other way. It is coded to perform a certain way, and it does.

That being said, everyone is suffering the same fate, so it is still fair, just annoying.... when you switch to a new deck and there is clearly a shift in the rift and they throw you at similar archetypes out of now where, back to back... or when you draw 8 lands in a row. smh. It does happen. Something that is much much much more rare in person, playing paper magic. I have almost never taken a fresh deck into a group/lgs and played against a similar deck even after several games in person.

A multiple daily occurrence on Arena.

The method half the top 500 players are using to cheat the algorithm is to include a couple "meme" one-of cards in an aggro netdeck like mono red or boros, run 16-18 lands and use the smoothing to reliably get 2 lands in the opener. Just do that and enjoy the skill-free experience. They will never fix this btw.

Magic arena, 30 lands meta. xD

Jokes aside, its either you get no land, or only land.

My record is +9 land in a row from start. or only haveing 2 land from start and no land for atleast 8 turns.. And this is with atleast 20 land in the decks...

The rng / algoritm of shuffleing in magic arena is broken AF.

Yes but that is the hand smoother, not the shuffler. Also you clearly don't know what anecdotal means or understand anything anyone says, hence why you think literally anyone on this forum said "just trust WOTC" which literally nobody has done.

Literally all anyone has asked, is the bare minimum evidence the shuffler is rigged.
