Cards aren't triggering when entering the battlefield.
Iv'e been through a few games now where a couple cards that both me and my opponent play don't trigger when entering the battlefield. Also experienced issues with auto tapping for mana. Where I activate the mana ability of one of my creatures, but it auto taps said creature instead of an untapped land that is available. Anyone else having these issues?

Not sure about the first one, but the autotap doesn't always pick the most advantageous options for you. It tries, usually does an alright job, but sometimes it taps something you want to use later. Just have to pay attention to what gets highlighted, and manually tap the mana you want if the autotap is doing something dumb.
There are many ways to prevent triggers from occurring. Keep an eye on the battlefield, the thing preventing the effect from occurring will pulsate with color when it prevents something from happening.

When in doubt, reading the card explains the card.

For the specific case of tapping a mana dork rather than a land, it's probably that it was a pain land and the default auto tap solution will be one that doesn't cost you life if possible. It's generally a good idea to pay attention to the auto tapping solution to make sure you have the right mana available for what you want to do after it but it's more important with pain lands. Pain lands will also be preferentially chosen to pay for generic mana costs in spells in the autotap solution so if you want to use coloured mana from it for something else, you'll need to manually tap the mana you want to use.

For the first one, you really need to post a screenshot with it because the odds are that there's something on the battlefield causing it like Elesh Norn, Hushbringer or something else stopping the triggers

Field of ruin is terrible for this as well any time I have one out and in the first couple of turns I literally have to manually tap it for colorless or it'll use one of my colored mana to pay for a colorless
As for the triggers take a few screenshots and drop them here we really have no clue otherwise, I mean I don't play this game nearly as much as I used to but all seemed fine for me 1-2 days ago in my games

Same, the opponent played a "mill half your deck" creature card, so i played an Ossification on my turn and it didn't do anything.

I read the card thoroughly, and there wasn't anything else on the board because it was a blue deck so neither of us had really played much.

should've taken a screenshot but i just assumed maybe there is some card that's like "if this card exists in your deck your opponent can't play cards untill you win" given the state of modern MTG cards.

I did, i always do, i saw nothing pulse, nor saw any card with that sort of effect and there wasn't much on the board.

theres a 2 drop that does this, something thrull. which is fair because it applys to all players. Otherwise, theres a strixhaven card that adds tax to etb, and an Elesh Norn that prevents opponents from triggering.
