There is a new trick now for spending that didn't exist before. It might be 2 months old I don't know, I recently noticed it. Now if you have a card you can't swich it to an alternative card style if you don't own the card in that style. So if there are 3 different card styles you can craft 12 cards.
edit: my mistake, it was about same card different sets.
To the topic, if you own all uncommons and commons you will need to open 77 packs to get 100% vault. If you get 3 uncommons in every pack and 4 commons that is 9+4 points.
It isn't worth it because instead of winning a rare sometimes in daily wins or in midweek's events you will get a few gems if it is from that set.
You will also have a set that you know well and have good chances of winning gems in draft but you will have no reason to join these drafts. I almost completed Amonkhet in the past besides some cards I wasn't intrested in, like Jace and Bolas. I played almost all the strategies of that set because it was my favorite. Nevertheless when drafts of that set were available and I joined them picking cards only for consistency, ignoring rares and mythics, I could win enough games until I got to silver tier. Then I started losing often.
let's try to uncover the truth
if we don't get gems for them do we at least get higher vault progress than usual?
