40 min waiting for a matchup in the queue or 40 min waiting in a game? Crash the game why would you wait for 40 min? Reboot your pc, verify integrity of game files as it seems you play through Steam

Same here(tip: you can exit via shift+tab). Exiting didn't do anything, as you reboot you enter directly on "waiting for opponnent screen"

I'm trying reinstalling now

I just got a match in like 2 seconds in Historic(congratz on your easy win random internet person) just blew myself up as I don't feel like playing right now

You'll need to use task manager to kill the client (or alt-F4 as per above). If nothing happens in the game for more than a minute or two, the client or server has ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up in some way and you'll need to login again.

It's been particularly glitchy since the latest release, but I can't imagine its brought in a flood of new players so who knows.

This happens when you put your PC to sleep while the game is running, rather than closing the game then putting the PC to sleep or just turning the PC off.

When you wake the PC up, the game will connect to servers again, but with some sort of block that doesnt allow it to find matches until you restart the game. This occurs every single time I do it.
