when a bundle like that is in the store make sure to hover over the tiny "?" symbol in the bottom corner of the store window there that'll show some text saying exactly what it is in the picture that's for sale
Buckle up folks it's gonna be a bumpy ride
If you suck, just have MTGA Assistant running to help with picks and deck build at the end, since most people do that anyway, especially the ones that say they dont and are total pros who make killer card picks 100% of the time.
Edit: Remember, the pack+gem spoils you could win are on top of the packs included in the drafts. So lets break down one draft for simplicity...
5k coins to play and open 4 packs. That is the baseline. Basically, you are losing* 1k gold coins to play a draft, if we assume you get trashed and don't take a single win. Not to mention, you are picking your cards, and often times I will pick a valuable card that has nothing to do with the deck I am building in that draft, just because its a nice mythic or whatever.... You get the full game experience, AND after some time, you come out getting at least a few wins per draft and netting an average of 5 packs and a few hundred gems per draft.
If one booster is 1k gold or 600 gems, then we can quick math this:
One quick draft = loose average of 5k gold resulting in 6k gold value, plus getting to play. Once you are practiced, you can expect 5k gold to average you out to 6.5k gold value, and when you get those occasional sweeps or 7-1 runs down the line, your 5k gold will turn into 7.5k gold value. Now really its all nitty gritty minimum gains, but they do add up and playing the drafts should take priority to just opening another pack.
Just my opinion. Of course the only negative here is you are tied down to whatever quick draft is running, and not picking the exact set of packs...
skill being knowledge of cards or knowing how to read an opponent.
Or maybe they can't leave the house to go play magic for other reasons. Your view of the world seems incredibly shallow.
