Is sideboard like market from eternal card game?
I want some board clear for certain situations. But don't want to make my deck inconsistent.
In eternal you have a market mechanic
You put cards in the market and then you can play units/spells that can pull cards from the market

Is the sideboard like this?
I don't see any cards that mentions sideboard so far

It's only used in best of 3 format so after the first match you can hit your sideboard before the next match and swap card for card from your sideboard, also there are a few select cards in the game that say they allow you to grab a card you own from outside the game, those cards will let you fetch a card from your sideboard, but they are pretty limited number of cards that can do this, it's basically between matches if the opponent wrecked you with enchantments for an example you could swap a few disenchant type cards from your sideboard for the next match, or more lifegain if you got beat down by red in the first game

If you don't play best of 3 and just play best of one then you don't hit nor have your sideboard

A lot of people recommend to play BO3 they claim it has some hand smoother thing where you might get mana screwed or flooded less, I'm not sure really, but you'll have your sideboard there either way

Might try it
Will my standard cards be useable?
Guess you wont know without knowing my deck xD

I'll give it a shot

If you click to play standard it'll only have your decks available that have all standard legal cards in them, the other ones will have a triangle on them with a number indicating the number of cards you need to remove or change, bo1 or bo3 doesn't matter as long as cards in deck and sideboard are legal in the format

In older formats you can use the Strixhaven lessons/learn mechanics to get sb cards like the way the market in Eternal works. (7 cards instead of 5, but same general idea, except color of the sb cards don't matter). There are also cards like Karn, Great Creator which let you bring in SB cards as needed.
