I'm the opposite.
I enjoy playing mono red when I don't have much time to play and want 4 quick easy wins.
But I also enjoy playing against it as I know exactly what to expect from their deck and If I have built my deck to be competitive against aggro decks then I have a reasonable to good chance of victory.
And at least the game is over in a few turns, win or lose you can move onto the next hopefully more interesting match fast every time against mono red.
Mono red punishes bad players with slow greedy decks mostly so I understand why it draws so much hatred.
Personally I only loathe 5/4 colour domain mirror matches as they can take 45+ minutes and those white / blue remove, board wipe and counter everything decks.
Aah, diddums - tell me where the nasty red card hurt you. I'm sure mummy will kiss it better for you.
...Okay, second worst. THE worst, has to go to people bringing 1000 card decks into Arena matches. THOSE players are definitely going to burn in hell.
Well there is a reason why red and blue are mortal enemies and the proof is here. Red players hate blue players and vice versa lol
False, A skilled mono-red player has to factor in cards they have no idea about into their lines of play. Compare that to control that only ever deals with the board state or how do they stabilize the board so they don't lose or when is the optimal time to cast the cantrip so they are not caught out with their shields down IE double blue for counter magic. Linear play versus Non-Linear play. Making a move with the pieces as they are know versus thinking 3 moves ahead. Every card the Burn/Aggro/Sligh deck plays has to essentially be a 2 for 1 in terms of value proposition otherwise their not going to win out in attrition.
OK Ogre
