Midweek magic without enough card's to craft deck

They just give 4 pack of talkir, imagine make 60 card deck, how people should win?

If you were drafting the set, you'd probably have enough cards to make a reasonable "budget" deck without much crafting(Maybe some kind of go-wide Trumpet Blast deck, for instance). But, certainly many of the midweek magic events are designed to eat some wildcards.

Quick drafts cost 5k gold. Do one or two and you'll have enough cards to build a 60 card Tarkir deck for the event.

its just not really worth it unless you already have cards because you enjoyed the set. wish they would just do phantom for stuff where its obviously not worth spending the wildcards on. at least with the standard set ones the cards that are strong enough for standard are presumably going to be great in set constructed.

Yes you can draft Khans and if you enjoy draft, should. However, rare drafting those to win a non-competitive outside format like MWM isn't recommended (and is far too random). So yeah again MWM was a poorly executed event. I went 3-0 with a mostly uncommons/commons deck with 4x previously owned Siege Rhinos mainly because in general I refuse to spend WCs until I know I am going to be using a card set for more than a one shot deck.

Though the flipside to this is most players who are not p2p are in the same boat so you are likely to run into other budget decks if you choose not to waste your wcs so precipitously.

It does not give packs at all typically. 2 icrs (individual card rewards) and some kind of cosmetic are the usual rewards for winning 3+ times.

I think OP was talking about the 3 you get for a new set that WOTC gives to everyone.

you can get more cards by paying real money. I woudn't recommend it though
