Oh look, its one of those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ who has so much brain damage they think everything can be answered by more removal because obviously cards that get made dont reflect the limit of what the designers consider to be acceptable. Do us all a favor and die since thinking is too much work for you to do in life
not indestructible or hexproof
not even flying or trample
can use throwaway 1/1s to block it consistently or use literally any creature removal spell
i don't get it
removal is important to any build
just finding the right balance of removals to non-removals is important too
there's too many cards -- especially non-creatures -- that turn into standalone win conditions if the opponent doesn't have any removal options for them
that all being said my favorite removal spell is doomskar because it's a cheap consistent AOE
mythweaver poq though? i'll lend it hagra mauling/broodpit option instead of using it as a double-sided land and that's too easy
admittedly mythweaver poq is probably really good synergy in a landfall build with scute swarm etc however as a standalone card no thanks
I'd say he's definitely a new staple in any green deck that cares about ramp. Gives you ramp out of nowhere and is a pretty decent win con by itself.
You can chump block that for days kill it or counter it. The only neat thing about that card is that it duplicates fetches to really exploit "When a Land enters the battlefield" triggers, But their are more powerful things in pretty much every format you could be doing for 4 mana then putting it into something that does not have haste or a way to protect itself or trample or doublestrike or phasing or shroud or ward or a "When this creature declares an attack" interact with your opponent or your own board state trigger.
If your not following the meta of 20 cards that will work towards winning you the game 8-12 Removal/Burn/Counter spells and 4-8 cantrips and 20-24 lands that's on you.
In the inferior formats, there's more stuff you'll need to remove other than just this 1 creature. You're not going to blow up that glissa sunslayer because maybe Poq will be played next turn?
Also there are so many removals in the game, just learn how to use them?
