Boo! It would be so useful.
(Doesn't MTGO kinda have a (janky) one?)
I dunno, never played MTGO myself.
My friend who's a much more experienced and long-time player than me has tried a bunch of times to get me to switch to MTGO. More formats are supported there, like custom cubes and stuff I think. Also you can actually trade your cards with other players and possibly even sell them for money I guess (although I think not directly through the client? not sure). It's also more stable than Arena, I hear (even though it's not as sparkly), probably cos it's developed by Daybreak, who work on heavyweight stuff like EQII and LoTRO. One big (IMO) downside to playing there is your cards are kinda like NFTs in that you can't reuse them across multiple of your decks. Just seems like it would make brewxperimenting more annoying.
But yeah, looks like they def have more game analysis tools right in the client - https://www.mtgo.com/en/mtgo/advanced (I guess you can build your own match replayer for Arena since detailed logs are available through the settings, but that's a whole big serious project).
Arena should've been that but better looking but alas it's a PoS software. :P
Haha, agreed on all fronts, cheers.
