I'm still having fun, probably because I haven't played in a long while, but man it's just absolutely insane how much power they stack into 2 and 3 drops these days.
I'm really enjoying woe limited. I like the fast pace. Drafting a deck with a good curve is something one should learn, or lose more.
Even so I'm finding this to be a great limited environment.
Feels fairly well balanced (seen better, seen worse), and feels dynamic without being overly swing.
In short; I get that it's not everyone's cup of tea, but I'm really enjoying this set as a limited format.
From reading your post it just sounds like you're a competitive minded player who would benefit from playing proper best of three matches.
