I can't play with friends

Hello!
I was trying to play against a friend and he was constantly getting an error message; waiting for the server. Network error- unable to submit deck.

We have restarted the routers, the game, the client... no changes.

Any ideas of what the issue is?

:/ direct challenge thing is pretty wonky. I know at times it hasn't worked for my friends and other times it has. Never got an error message for it

Same thing to us, its just a buggy mess
There is nothing wrong with your settings, its just a coin toss whether it works or not cause its poorly done

Try VPN. Who knows, maybe its a server issue.

its a common issue as of the release of WOE. Ive literally just tried playing against my buddy 5 times today and got the same message. happened a few weeks back as well. I dont use steam to play mtga i just have the mtga client downloaded on my pc and play that way but yeah its not just you.

Same issue with my friends, brother, and myself. Can play everything else just fine but to direct challenge or play against a friend it just doesn't work

It has been broken like this for over a year. Casual play doesn't make any money for Hasbro so they do not give a f*&%

Bad word of mouth might keep some people from even playing the game, maybe it needs to be put out there way more than it is that it's an issue, might deter some people from not even installing the game if they can't play with friends
