Hate decks, do our part to NOT join the trend (Historic Brawl)
Well to start off....

I see decks out there running mono red and mono blue. Either to counter everything you do or destroy everything you do. My question is... "Who hurt you?"

Let's face it, running into people who built these decks are just byproducts of someone being absolutely anti friendly and ruining everyone's experience.

These people that play only counters or destruction, have prolly been hurt by others doing this. It's tempting to also join because I too am SICK of these hate decks that stop you from playing the game. But what happens if I decide "Okay if you're going to play like that, I'm doing to do it too" , the answer is further creating a toxic online gaming experience.

If you think this is a crybaby posting, this isnt for you. I know this is the beauty of creating whatever style you like to play as, in the world of MTG.

Here's my recommendation:

1. Leave the match you're in once they start stopping you.
2. Use the emojis for "good game" once you see it.
3. Don't match these people and the hate trend.

Why:
1. Leaving won't give them the satisfaction of actually playing MTG.
2. Using "good game" is the only way we can show our dissatisfaction.
3. If we start doing these types of decks ourselves, the entire game will just be full of not being able to play MTG.

I kept telling myself "OHkay You know what, iM gOnnA dO tHe sAmE tHIng" and never do since it'll further create hostilities for everyone.

I want to be able to create decks in the historic brawl format that is different that no one I see uses, and if everyone is just controlling from the start everything you want to do, it's no fun. I joined MTG Arena because I couldn't depend on IRL friends and play as often as I wanted to play.

If you disagree, then so be it. Maybe I see something you don't. There's not much I can do besides leaving this here.

Interesting take.
Nothing interesting about it, I've seen toxic narcissists like you for years in MANY online games.

Okay. I mean reading your words to me, it looks like you're the toxic one.

"Who hurt you?"- best line ive read in a while your not wrong i enjoy building and trying new things but just to get beat down by red and blue is really dumb when i go play aat my local shop it isnt even that bad the fact is most people just want quick wins and dont want to have any fun i stay away from most online duels and just play with friends doning jank stuff and breaking the game.
You, for the most part, aren't going to find the kind of games you are looking for in any queue. What do you want to play against? Decks that aren't trying to win?

"...if everyone is just controlling from the start everything you want to do, it's no fun"

Even if you run into someone playing a non-meta deck, playing interaction to disrupt your opponent is just part of the game, and even those non-meta decks will play some kind of interaction.
So, you're complaining your opponents interacted with you? Where have I seen this before?

Also, if you really think that removal and counters are among the most busted things in the historic brawl format, have I got terrible news for you. This is a format where stuff like Dark Ritual, Necropotence, One Ring, Paradox Engine, Blood Moon and more are all legal. I'd say interaction should be the least of your worries.
Unfortunately beginner magic looks like this because this what beginners can afford. Some people never outgrow their origins and refuse to try new things. Mono colored decks are reasonably (55%+ win rate) good compared to the average poverty stricken deck you can build in multiple colors. Who hurt them? Wotc. The economy is what it is because of them.

Nobody, ever, because they all run away without fighting back.

1. Thanks for the free wins.
2. I have emotes turned off.
3. Thanks for the easy wins.

People would rather cry about these type of problems than try & solve them?

Certain decks are a challenge to face. Personally I find it a welcome challenge, but I can understand how others might not but up to said challenge.
Yawnnnn. Why is this even a thread? Boring!

People play these decks because they like to ruin My experience is such a solipsistic take. Maybe people play these decks, because they enjoy the playstyle instead of caring about the feelings of an opponent they wont know or even see irl.

On the other hand, watching these people fantasize about how them conceding is somehow ruining someone else's day is hilariously delusional.
These types of decks are to complete daily/weekly color challenges lol

"they make decks I do not like, so let's leave all matches against them, so they cannot play MTG.. Because I do not approve of their playstyle" ..
Really ? And that makes you any better, how ? They are not going online trying to get everyone to stop playing you, due to your playstyle.. You are even worse, than the people you are trashing.. Just FYI..
I guess my work here is finished. All the toxic persons revealed themselves. Case closed.
