To much slow playing.
If you are taking longer then 10 seconds to decide on an opening hand or if you are taking more then 60 seconds to fetch a land and move through the phases... YOU ARE A BAD MAGIC PLAYER.

The last time I saw someone play Turbofart's or Mill in a Paper magic event Locals or Organized was when Revilark was still in Standard during Lorwyn Block.
It's not a good approach to the game outside of Kitchen Table Magic.

I don't want to stretch my games out past 4-6 turns to accommodate something that will just loose in the end because they failed to realize at a core level that the base colors in magic are representative of phases and moments in nature.

Though stagnation exists in nature it often leads to pestilence and extinction and focusing in on disrupting an opponent to the point where your only clause for Victory is your opponent not winning is not optimal.

But I am sure that's obvious to most players who willingly choose to play Mill or Turbofarts. Because if they wanted to "Win" or "Actually Play" vs the Trolling they are doing they'd play a Combo Variant.

Similar to Turbofart's or Mill in the fact that it does minimal opponent interactions it just sits there and waits disrupts when needed casting Cantrips and Wishes until they have what they need. Unlike the other's though Combo top 8's often with the other viable archtypes/Primers Aggro, Burn, Control, Mid-range, Tribal Tempo (Goblins/Merforlk/Elves for instance)

80% os this people take for ever to toss a mana card... in the first round.
I'd like to say somethign about it, but I'd be banned.

I like how it is in Eternal Card Game eventually if they stall enough it gets so fast that they can barely ever drag a card from their hand in time and very soon it auto concedes them, usually only takes 5 min max but it's fun to watch them freak out trying to play stuff after it gets going
And agreed the rope should be way quicker than it is

Either that, Or I want a "Speed Magic" Queue's for Casual and Ranked.

I can only imagine how it must be for new players and they come up against those types of decks and players and how much of a negative experience it must be, I doubt many would be motivated to play much more after that.

Have you ever played at an FNM or a GPT or a Grand Prix or Qualify for a Pro Tour? Have you cracked into top 120 Ranked in any constructed format in Arena?

It's not about patience it's about them actually wasting both players time because they max out the timer and fail to advance the game state in any direction. You might be able to get away with that once or twice at an event, But eventually enough judges would be called over to DQ that person because they are taking longer then 55 Minutes for a Best of 3.

There's always bullet chess, where you can get wrecked by 9 year olds in under a minute total! Why not have a Lichess window open next to the Arena window for when your Arena opponent is taking too long.

If you are getting Wrecked by 9 year old's in Speed Chess your spatial awareness and presence of mind / mindfulness. Magic The Gathering has been "World's Most Complicated Game" for awhile now. Check the Forbes article years back. In actuality however it is Number 2 it's Behind the complexity of Wei Qi / Go that has a potential 1700 possible Opening moves and over 768K Game variants when played on the Standard 19X19 board. No eternal or standard formats have close to that level of complexity.

All of these games have enough depth and beauty for many lifetimes, but I don't think getting wrecked at bullet by 9yo necessarily means you're a space cadet or a dummy, even just within chess / strategy games. I'm not Actually Good at chess but I'm better than the large majority of rated players (CM, USCF peak 2100+) and I would still probably get adopted by at least a few 9yos on Lichess.

No dude, some players cleary start with horrible hand, so they play very, very slow to see if you quit and make it a win for them.
