I'd like to say somethign about it, but I'd be banned.
And agreed the rope should be way quicker than it is
I can only imagine how it must be for new players and they come up against those types of decks and players and how much of a negative experience it must be, I doubt many would be motivated to play much more after that.
Have you ever played at an FNM or a GPT or a Grand Prix or Qualify for a Pro Tour? Have you cracked into top 120 Ranked in any constructed format in Arena?
See my OP.
All of these games have enough depth and beauty for many lifetimes, but I don't think getting wrecked at bullet by 9yo necessarily means you're a space cadet or a dummy, even just within chess / strategy games. I'm not Actually Good at chess but I'm better than the large majority of rated players (CM, USCF peak 2100+) and I would still probably get adopted by at least a few 9yos on Lichess.
No dude, some players cleary start with horrible hand, so they play very, very slow to see if you quit and make it a win for them.
and anyway, it's not lost, it's available in WOE
