Draft vs AI.
Is the AI really meant to be so aggressive?

This is absolutely no fun.

That's what I did.

The first 2 games, the AI was barely playing, in fact, it conceded turn 2 with 18 life total.

Then it adjusted my rank and every other match was my anus being resized turn 3.

I wonder if it is more the fault of Dominaria United being a bad draft set? I'll try again once the offered set rotates.

I gotta be honest tough, I find the complexity level of the game play to be reminiscent of those 10$ Planeswalker decks.

I don't really see the appeal of drafting.
It's a completely different game to be honest its a higher form of thinking than constructed. Speaking as a constructed dummy myself.

I guess i'll give it another go.

How do you feel about Dominaria United for drafts?

Dominaria United (DMU) is a good set to draft, I personally like it...

I enjoy more drafts than contructed, its where I get the most of my cards for collection and gems... I watch a lot of content creators drafting, so that helped me learning the game and drafting.

Awesome.

Thanks for your input.

From your response, it sounds like you misunderstood the previous comment.
You draft vs the AI, but you play against other players. That means when you choose the cards you do that vs an AI, but when you play, you play against other people.

To your comment: Limited (draft etc.) is extremely competitive because it was the best way to finish your collection before they gave "Gold Boosters" and because it has a high upfront cost (5/10k gold or gems) so people go with a far more focused mindset into draft than constructed.

If you want to stop AI dead in its tracks, just use deathtouch cards. It hates those cards and will abandon sure victory to avoid them.

Interesting. Is this information verifiable?

I see no mention within the game itself that you are doing anything other than drafting against AI.

Not that I don't believe you, as it certainly seems like each game i played was played against "someone different".

Here the video from the official channel.

The game mode is called Draft and the selection of cards at the start is called drafting, so the ingame description is correct you do the drafting against an AI, but the play with those selected cards is against human players.
As explained in the video above

Well you see it in the names of your opponent, but your are right while still misunderstanding. ^^
You do draft vs. A.I. but you play with the drafted deck vs. players. ^^

If you also draft vs. players it is a timed thing where th epacks are given around to pick cards.
