In this thread: Someone is angry about Mono-Red-Aggro in Historic Format because their control deck sucks. Not realizing that if there was no valid Aggro deck, everyone would play games with 50 turns, countering every spell the enemy plays. Idk if you would call that fun.
Also, game is not rigged. Game works as intended. Decks with many rares fight decks with many rares. Higher Rank gives you harder oponents.
This opinion is bad, and you should feel bad.
Also, wouldn't it be relatively easy (provided you have the cards) to build an anti-aggro deck if you know what everyone is playing? Or would the "rigged matchmaking" just stop feeding you aggro decks if you played one? Sounds like a solution to your problem either way.
Matchmaking in unranked is based on your deck, so if you only play one deck, you will see the same several archetypes over and over again. If you want more variety, play multiple decks.
The joke is, if MTG Arena weren't rigged, it would be the perfect TCG game for me aside of the resent balance issues, stupid bans, to overtuned cards and hardly any variety in card effects overall.
A real ife booster pack costs 19.95 USD (cheapest I could find from a reliable source).
20k gems cost 99.99 USD which is enough for 100 booster packs. 1 booster pack is 0.99 USD. You also get 0.13 rare wildcards, 0.03 mythic wildcards and further 0.6 golden pack rare/mythic.
Same. Right. For sure you extensively played MTGA...
I agree with you 100%. You can spend $100 on gems on Arena and get any tier-1 deck right now. You will also get enough other cards that you will be able to get a second tier-1 deck before the next set comes out and perhaps even a third. At that point, you will be able to keep up with the meta without too much trouble.
The average tier-1 deck in standard right now costs between $300 and $500.
You used to go out with with "Shandalar"? Heh.
(But yea, a UI that's still so similar to that one from 1997 is not pretty... actually I think it kind of looks worse?)
And they cost $1 on Arena, or you get an average of 10 for free if you play till your get 15 wins a day.
