It takes about ten weeks to get enough wildcards to build a tier-1 deck.
Fifth copies don't become wildcards. Fifth copies of common and uncommon become vault progress. With rares and mythics, you get gems.
That's to get a deck good enough to win competitions with. If you just want a deck you can play with, you can update one of the more than a dozen decks you get for free. You can start that day one.
If you play specific decks, you fight specific decks. There is already proof of manipulation, but effecting card draw is clearly a tinfoil theory...
Draws are predictable constantly. You win when it wants you to win not by chance.
Yesterday, the world was my oyster. I was on a tear for a bit.
Today. I thinking of scrapping the deck that was doing so well yesterday.
Is this not the story of life in general?
Can't win them all.
In the end we all lose.
My white/black deck is 7-0 against mono red (at the moment, I been lucky)
And it is a mid tempo deck with the option to be a formidable aggro deck if given the right cards early.
Been able to stop to even stop aggro red with bad land drops (One match only a 2 for most of the match, was able to stop the charge and apply pressure, until I got a Farmhand {gave me a land}. Once I got a 3rd and put out some real problems, then they where done.
I mostly believe bad land drops are mostly my fault. (I am not good at figuring out the best rato for land vs. creatures and stuff, more so when using dual lands.)
But it just happens sometimes.
Nobody complains though when it is happening to their opponent
Always this whataboutism.... obviously there is no deck without a hard counter but there shouldn't be any need to play a counter deck only because one deck from the beginning, I build myself a mono red scrubs counter deck too but do I really want to play always this kind of decks because WOTC gives a sh!t about balance?
Sure you do buddy. They're all watching you.
It's pretty simple to test it yourself. Just go to historical for some quick matches, and your white decks will face the same style of decks. Your green decks will always fight the same few deck designs...Your red will always fight the same styles...
They always par your decks up depending on what cards you have in your deck and your average level/ranking. I've ran dozens of games doing test, and i've had removing 1 card type makes the difference. MM completely changed.
