How to play against other players

Hi there I'm new to mtg arena. I finished all the color challenges, but I still can only play Bot Matches. What do I have to do to play against other real players?

I think you need to pick the type of match you want to play. Your selected (default?) type of match is probably with bots - that's why you keep playing Sparky.

You have to go through all the colored deck match ups I believe, but I think you can go to the options and turn off the tutorial and you can play in pvp formats then

Get as many easy games in as you can. Earn as many decks and cards as you can before you match yourself against the Standard and Alchemy meta. Doesnt matter if you're new everyone is net decking (coping decks off the net and importing them then wild carding what they need). So you will be put against very good artisan and budget friendly decks like mono blue tempo and mono red aggro once you leave spark rank.
