My arena has a black screen when starting anyone help?

It was working normally until last night, but after the update when I start the game it stays on a black screen.

Same here, happened after I crashed during a game. If there is a solution I'd like to know, I tried to wait it out, to uninstall & reinstall, it is still this way

Try using the free Revo Uninstaller to clean uninstall and remove registry settings before reinstalling.

Same here, I have a problem with arena that makes my pc to restart (maybe it mekes it overheat I don´t know), today that happens and when I open arena again after that I just have a back screen and nothing happens, I tried with the EGS version of arena and it works fine for me atm.

I got this following a crash of my pc during a match. The only way to fix for me was to uninstall/ remove the game from my steam account, then re add and install, i think it needs you to remove any association to your wotc account before u can load it then log in again.

is there a way I could reduce the amount I have to download again if I uninstall, run the revo and remove from steam? My internet is not very fast

Mtga spy ware most likely. Visit the official site and file a report and while you are at it check the box that says they can not sell your information. By default they are allowing themselves to sell your information unless you opt out of it.

Your only other option is to install the game on Epic Games, it takes up less space and also I have yet to see the black screen issue occur on that platform.

Hi, I have an update with this problem, what I did to solve it was uninstall the game and then I erase the local files folder "MTGA" after the uninstall (the one located at "\Steam\steamapps\common"), After that I just install the game again and worked fine for me.
Before that I used the system restore to a previous point, but maybe that´s not necessary.

Same here - uninstalled it - reinstalled it - it worked again - quit the game - restarted the game - black screen again ...

yep reinstalled and it worked fine. Then next day black screen of death. MTG Arena just gives obvious solutions that do not solve the problem.

happened to me too on steam, reinstalling didn't work.
I downloaded the pc version instead and it worked, till i had electricity fall and the game crushed with the computer, now both version just have black screen. nothing fixes it.
