You cant gather xp infinitely here.
I use the same tactic with LotR decks, I'm not going to have fun so just concede and move on.
I can find a new match and win in less time than it takes if my opponent ropes. If I manage a come from behind win, it increases the chance of my opponent roping by so much that it is faster to concede as soon as I fall behind rather than try and win.
Also, the XP you get doesn't change if the game was long or short. Its 250 per win for the first 15 wins of the week and 25 per win for the first 10 wins of the day. Also 500 per quest completely.
The rest of the rewards can be found here:

I play MTG Arena to have fun, not to being milled and countered all the time.
Not only that, but there are some decks that are piloted by people who are just more likely to rope you. Rogue Mill is one of them. Any prison deck is another. Discard decks.
I can literally concede, find a new game, and win that game in less time than it takes to collect my win if my opponent ropes. And since conceding is the only tool WotC has given us to deal with abusive players, I will use it as soon as I think it makes sense.
I understand why they do this. If someone is playing hand attack spells, it means they are much more likely to rope.
It's just smarter to concede and find another game rather than risk sitting there for three minutes to collect your win at the end of the game.
