You can build your sight up again by using iZakaroN's SaveEditor[www.larian.com] (or from Kiya's site[kiya.xanlosch.de], with description). Essentially, the sight bonus is added directly to your sight value when you learn a level of the skills, so you can use the editor to repeatedly unlearn the skill and then learn it again in the game. If your sight range isn't negative, though, it shouldn't take long to get it back to normal.
In detail: use the editor to unlearn Elven/Ranger Sight, load the game, learn them again (Elven Sight first, Ranger Sight if you have skill points left), save, unlearn using the editor, reload that save and repeat as necessary. See please help with my blind hero[www.larian.com].
DAD's item editor[kiya.xanlosch.de] (same page as the second link for the save editor) or the Divine Divinity Item Editor[hem.passagen.se] could be used to give a piece of equipment a sight bonus, but there are a couple places in the game where your equipment gets removed, and that wouldn't fix the problem, just compensate for it.
If you have Elven/Ranger Sight on any equipment, though, DAD's Item Editor could be used to remove it, to hopefully prevent this from happening again.
If you are comfortable hex editing, the sight range can be modified directly. See Some more hex offsets...[www.larian.com], and perhaps Teleporting Anywhere, via hex editor[www.larian.com] as a reference. IIRC a sight range of 18 (hex value 12) should clear the majority of the screen playing at 1024x768, for example, while the stating value is 12 (hex 0C).
If not, you can zip the data.000 file from your latest save folder and email it to me (raze@larian.com) to edit.
Some people have also had an issue when having a sight skill and equipment bonuses at or over level 5.
