patch to V1.34
Should I install the patch on http://www.larian.com/Site/english/divinity/fix.html that will bring Divine divinity to version 1.34?

i wouldn't however i would contact them and see if they are gonna put it on steam... which they should be in the process of doing...

The 1.34 patch (1.0034A game version) was the last update for the disk version of the game. It does not support widescreen resolutions, or resolutions over 1024x768 (a configuration file edit can get the game running in a custom resolution, but opening the main map can cause the game to crash, the frequency of which is system and resolution dependent).

I hope they put it on steam. I've got the negative resistence bug going on in my game, and it's really frustrating! Apparently the patch fixes that.

The patch helped, but did not completely eliminate the problem in the disk version.

Way late here but I've just installed and want to dive in but reading threads like this one, among others has me a bit hesitant I'm not getting a complete & stable experience - What patch version is the Steam/GOG? 1.32, 1.33 ??? Any answers or direction would be greatly appreciated.

Same question.

I'm curious if I need to run Divpatch to patch this to version 1.34, or if the patch is alread included in the game. It'd be nice if this information was available on the store or community page.

TL;DR: Patch not needed.

When you load the game, the version is shown on the main menu in the bottom right. Mine says v1.0062A which is actually v1.62A and greater than v1.34A / v1.0034A
